Hello, my name is Ryan Pope. I currently work as a Systems Engineer and have about 2 years of professional experience. Upon entering the cyber field, I quickly learned that I wanted to do more than just information security. My passion for cyber security stems from all the amazing tools and projects that are out there. To build upon my existing skills as well as gain new skill sets I started to look towards personal projects I could do and possibly incorporate into my current role. I started basic with creating a very simple home lab, coding a keylogger in Python and moving into cloud CI/CD technologies such as Ansible, Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes. I build new projects as often as I can when I discover new tools or techniques that I want to learn. I created this blog style website to document my journey from knowing nothing to hopefully learning a thing or two along the way.
